This insulating jacket is a useful addition to your 55 litre FermZilla, it ensures that the fermentation temperature remains at the same level during the cold winter months. The insulating effect ensures that the heat generated by the fermentation is retained within the jacket. If the fermentation reaches too high a temperature, you can easily lower the temperature by adding a few frozen bottles or ice packs inside the insulation jacket.

The jacket has the added benefit of being completely lighttight, which protects from harmful UV lights and prevents light stuck beer.
